How to Watch Amazon Prime Video using IPVanish Split Tunneling

Amazon doesn’t allow VPN services to access its content anymore. This is done through a series of measures which includes blocking VPN’s IP address pools.

But the good news is that if you are watching Amazon Prime Video content while you’re not connected to a VPN, you can continue doing that even when connected to a VPN provider such as IPVanish.

Check the article to find out how to sign up for IPVanish VPN. If you are keen to discover some IPVanish secrets, this article is for you!

How to Use the IPVanish Split Tunneling Feature?

In order for you to access all of the Amazon Prime Video content, IPVanish has come up with the split tunneling feature. This feature is compatible with all Android and FireOS apps.

Split tunneling will route all the apps you use through your ISP connection. This way you will be able to watch everything available on Amazon Prime Video based on your location. And at the same time, you will be able to protect your privacy and you will be safe all the time when using other apps through IPVanish.
Take a look at the step-by-step guide described below!

Attention: Read before you continue

Governments and ISPs across the world monitor their users online activities. If found streaming or browsing content on your Fire TV Stick, mobile or PC, you could get into serious trouble. Currently, your IP is visible to everyone. We strongly recommend you to get a good VPN and hide your identity so that your online experience doesn’t take a bad turn.

We use IPVanish which is the fastest and most secure VPN in the industry. It is very easy to install on any device including Amazon Fire TV Stick. Also, it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you don’t like their service, you can always ask for a refund. IPVanish also runs a limited time offer where you can save 73% on your VPN and they allow you to use one account on unlimited devices. This is a flash sale that can expire at any time.

My VPN is Private Internet Access (PIA) which has the same thing as split tunneling but they call it “Per App Settings”. When I open it there are like 96 items I believe are installed from Amazon. Not just Prime Video. Scanning though I see things like ACAFireTVAndroid Client, Alexa, Amazon Freetime, Amazon Whispersync DX and SDK, Bluetooth Share, CaptivePortalLauncher, Content Management Service, DeviceControlFTV Routing, KsoBlackbirdAPK, Lightning Server, Mayday, Not In My House, System Updates, Whad Service, WSSWifiAndroidProvisioner and on and on. I could write down a complete list if you really, really need it. I have no idea what… Read more »

I tried split tunneling to watch “Amazon Prime Video” gives the following message: “Your device is connected to the Internet using a VPN or proxy service. Please disable it and try again. For more help, go to amazon.com/pv-vpn.” What else can I do? Unless when watching Prime I must disconnect my IPVanish VPN.

Nope the split tunneling doesn’t work for me either with Amazon. Geez that would have been helpful.
