How to Sideload Apps onto Firestick From your Phone

If you want to install Amazon Store apps, it’s pretty easy because you just have to search the app you want in the store and click the “Get” button. But, in order to sideload apps manually which you can’t find on the official Amazon Store, it’s a bit more complicated.

To do this, you will need the help of the Apps2Fire app that you can use to transfer the app you want to your Firestick device. You just have to download it on your smartphone and let App2Fire do the rest.

How to Setup and Install Apps2Fire On your Phone

We will use the Kodi application as an example to show you how to sideload apps onto your Firestick using your phone or tablet, but feel free to install any other app you prefer.

Note: Not every app works properly when installed on your Firestick. Let’s take apps that are developed only for portrait mode. They won’t show correctly on a TV screen. That’s why most of the Firestick users want to install only streaming, news, and gaming apps on their device.

Follow the steps:

1. Turn on your Android phone or tablet and launch FileLinked. If you haven’t installed FileLinked, check this guide.

2. When you have open your FileLinked app and it asks you for a code, enter WebSafetyTips FileLinked Store code 11111111 (eight ones).

3. Search for Kodi 18.4 “Leia.”
