? How to Watch Free Legal Live TV on Your Firestick

Have you ever wanted to watch free legal live TV on your Amazon Firestick? Keep on reading to find out how. Cable TV can be quite expensive but it doesn’t have to be.

If you kept tabs on how much you spend on TV for a year or more, you’d be surprised by the chunk of money your cable box takes. In most places, cable rates cost between $12 per month for local channels and over $100 for upgraded offers and premium channels.

The good news is that you don’t need to spend an arm and leg on TV when you can get free options with most of the channels that you and your family love.

Introducing Pluto TV - The Free Legal Option

pluto tv

You must by now know about Pluto TV. It is a fantastic free streaming channel. Yes, it’s completely free and legal. It comes with your Fire TV if you purchase a new one. In fact, it’s already pre-loaded on your Fire TV. However, if you have an older version of Fire TV Stick, you may not have Pluto TV already installed but you can still search and download it.

So, let’s assume you don’t already have Pluto TV on your Firestick and want to watch its free content. How do you do it? Well, the first thing you’ll need to do is go over to the top of your screen and locate the search function normally represented by a magnifying glass. Then type in Pluto TV. You’ll get the option in the dropdown suggestions as soon as you type the first three letters or so.

Another good thing to note is that when you search for Pluto TV, even if you already have it installed, you’ll also see other free legal live TV options available on your Firestick. There are many free channels with entertaining and informative content that you can get your hands on. This helps a lot if you already have Pluto TV but still want to explore more free content options.

Attention: Read before you continue

Governments and ISPs across the world monitor their users online activities. If found streaming or browsing content on your Fire TV Stick, mobile or PC, you could get into serious trouble. Currently, your IP is visible to everyone. We strongly recommend you to get a good VPN and hide your identity so that your online experience doesn’t take a bad turn.

We use IPVanish which is the fastest and most secure VPN in the industry. It is very easy to install on any device including Amazon Fire TV Stick. Also, it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you don’t like their service, you can always ask for a refund. IPVanish also runs a limited time offer where you can save 57% on your VPN and they allow you to use one account on unlimited devices. This is a flash sale that can expire at any time.

Here are the reasons why you must use a VPN all the time.

Our focus is Pluto TV so go ahead and open it up to see what’s inside. Another great thing is that you don’t need to make any settings changes or installations when you want to access Pluto TV. This is because Fire TV is already customized for Pluto TV.

• Easy to Use Interface

The first thing you’ll notice after opening Pluto TV is its easy and simple interface which looks pretty much similar to most paid cable TVs. Everything looks normal including the TV guide and the videos playing. You can switch to full screen or hit the back button to get back to the dashboard.

It is no different from having cable except that in this case, it’s completely free. You only have to pay for Internet to watch Pluto TV’s interesting content free of charge. And you don’t need to have superfast Internet to watch Pluto TV. It works perfectly well with normal speed Internet.

• Plenty of Channels

pluto tv channels

You’ll also like the fact that despite being a free legal live TV option, Pluto TV has a good number of channels which are quite easy to access. Just scroll through the list of channels and test a few as each gets highlighted to find your favorite ones. There are many popular channels on Pluto TV for people of all ages.

You’ll find over 100 channels and thousands of on-demand TV shows and movies at any time. There are even some channels in Pluto TV that you don’t get with the traditional paid cable. If you are a sports fan, you’ll love the fact that Pluto TV has popular sports channels such as Fox Sports, NFL channel, and even the ability to replay games that you had previously missed watching live.

Conclusion

Pluto TV isn’t just a free legal live TV option but it also comes with most of the channels you find on cable, and even more. You’ll definitely find some of your favorite movies, sports, and general entertainment on Pluto TV free of charge.

It is also pretty fast and doesn’t take much of your TV resources. However, a few channels may lag a bit but that’s pretty normal with on-demand TV. Fortunately, most channels are pretty good and display in perfect quality. Pluto TV is great and super easy to get.

If you have it on your Fire TV, take the time to play around with it to find a few of your favorite channels and watch the content free of charge. You’ll find many sports, games, and entertainment options on Pluto TV.

Pluto TV is good but can be better cause it’s missing some of the basic channels like ABC, NBC, FOX and WPIX11. I also like the TV guide display.

Install a simple UHF antenna. Those channels are free broadcast plus you will pull in a host of additional ones. A $20 fix.

What if you live at the bottom of a hill and are about 60 miles from the tv signals? I’ve tried those antennas and I get nothing.

Don’t know if you have a Ollie’s store near you. Maybe on the internet if not, but you can get a rotary antenna for about $25 that’s great!!! I pick up free locals up to 90 miles away… Versus about $150 plus in my area before Radio Shack went outta business, also at Wally world’s for about $60 different name brands though. Find you a Ollie’s cheaper made probably but works for the price.

You have to buy a small outdoor antenna which you can keep indoors and get the signal from 200 yes two hundred miles away. Ebay has them for $18-40 dollars.

I was using IPV with Alexia, netflix and Youtube. what is your recommendation on how to proceed?

Deb

Can’t answer about Alexia. Netflix will through you off periodically and blame it on cable company. When you call Netflix to complain, they want to know EVERYTHING you are using, including your VPN. Get rid of it. Why pay for it? You can watch any one of their programs through apps. Also, Amazon Prime does the same thing. Unless you’re in it for free shipping, why pay? And Amazon is George Orwells 1984 Big Brother. Paranoid? You bet! ?

I’m in Canada. In the search function l get several “Pluto” links but none of them result in the app as you’ve described it.

Can l download it from a file linked store somewhere?

Hi. I found IPVN to take so much juice from the wifi–causing every thing to have to buffer. Know any way to counter that?
